Trees for Europe 2019 no AECCB

A Escola Secundária Camilo Castelo Branco associou-se ao evento europeu Trees for Europe 2019. Contou com a presença do Presidente da Câmara, Paulo Cunha, os Vereadores da Educação e do Ambiente, Leonel Rocha e Pedro Sena, a técnica ambiental, Ana Silva, o Vice-Diretor do AECCB, Pedro Oliveira, os alunos dos projetos Eco-Escolas, Clube Europeu e ainda alunos do curso Técnico de Audiovisuais.

O gesto simbólico de plantar uma árvore tem crescente importância face à emergência climática e ao aquecimento que ameaça os nossos estilos de vida e o planeta em geral. A árvore é vida, recicla o excesso de CO2 na atmosfera e renova o oxigénio. Poderíamos falar indefinidamente da importância da floresta, mas chega percebermos que sem ela não sobrevivemos!

Assim, Trees for Europe trata-se de um evento educativo e federativo que une alunos e gerações mais novas, no mesmo dia, de uma ponta do continente à outra, a fim de assinalar o nosso compromisso na preservação do ambiente e de modo a ser uma ligação entre nós, Europeus, “Unidos na Diversidade”!

No final do compromisso de alunos, professores e autarquia, procedemos à plantação simbólica de 8 carvalhos alvarinho, junto ao charco da ESCCB.

Somos e estamos comprometidos com o forte desejo de querermos um planeta definitivamente mais verde!

 
Trees for Europe 2019 at AECCB

Camilo Castelo Branco Secondary School was associated with the European event Trees for Europe 2019. It was attended by Mayor Paulo Cunha, Councillors of Education and Environment, Leonel Rocha and Pedro Sena, the environmental technician Ana Silva, the Vice-Director of AECCB, Pedro Oliveira, students of the Eco-Schools project, European Club and students from the Audiovisual Technicians Course. The symbolic gesture of planting a tree is of increasing importance in the face of the climatic emergence and warming that threatens our lifestyles and the planet in general. Tree is life, it recycles excess CO2 into the atmosphere and renews oxygen. We could talk indefinitely of the importance of the forest, but we realize that without it we do not survive! Thus, Trees for Europe is an educational and federative event that brings together students and younger generations on the same day, from one end of the continent to the other, in order to mark our commitment to the preservation of the environment and to be a bond between us, Europeans, "United in Diversity"! At the end of the commitment of students, teachers and autarchy, we proceeded to the symbolic planting of 8 oaks, next to the pond of the ESCCB. We are committed to the strong desire for a definitely greener planet!
