         Daca desenam un copac, trasand , mai intai, linia pamantului, observam ca radacinile sale sunt infipte adanc in pamant, in timp ce tulpina si ramurile se inalta catre cer. Copacul e o coloana, e legatura dintre vizibil si invizibil, dintre Pamant si Cer. Aduna laolalta toate elementele fundamentale ale universului: apa circula cu seva sa, radacinile sale incorporeaza pamantul, ramurile si frunzele sale se nutresc cu aer, iar lemnul uscat naste focul.

            If we draw a tree firstly by tracing the earth line, we can easily see how its roots are deeply planted in the earth, while the strain and branches are high to the sky. The tree is a pillar between the visible and invisible, between the Earth and the sky. It gathers together all the fundamental elements of the univers: the water flow with its sap, its roots incorporate the earth, its branches and leaves come together with the air, and the fire is born from the dried wood.

            Si on dessine un arbre, commençant, tout d’abord, par la ligne du sol, on remarque ses racines profondément plantées dans la terre, tandis que son tronc et ses branches se lèvent vers le ciel. L’arbre est une colonne, une liaison entre le visible et l’invisible, entre la Terre et le Ciel. Il intègre tous les éléments fondamentaux de l’univers - l’eau de sa sève, la terre qui protège ses racines, l’air qui nourrit ses feuilles et le feu qui naît du bois sec.

             Exista o credinta potrivit  careia fiecare copac are un suflet ce face ca frunzele sa-i tremure si sa sopteasca sub adierea vantului.  Copacul este simbol al vietii si, implicit, prin forma lui, al fertilitatii. Copacul hraneste, protejeaza si da speranta nemuririi. Copacul, prietenul omului! Oare nu Eminescu, poetul nostru national, se intorcea in padure cu bucuria revederii unui prieten? 

            There is a believe that each tree has its own soul which makes the leaves tremble and whisper touched by the wind. The tree is the symbol of life and implicitly by its form, it represent fertility. The tree feeds, protects and gives hope for immortality. The tree, humans friend! Is not Eminescu, our national poet, the one that returns in the woods with the joy of meeting again his old friend?

            Il y a la croyance selon laquelle chaque arbre a son âme qui fait ses feuilles trembler et murmurer sous le vent. L’arbre est le symbole de la vie et, par sa forme, de la fertilité. L’arbre nourrit, protège et donne l’espoir de l’immortalité. L’arbre et l’ami de l’être humain. C’était pas Eminescu, notre poète national, celui qui revenait dans les forêts avec la joie de rencontrer un vieux ami !

            Noi am ales sa plantam o magnolie, care, prin florile ei asemanatoare fluturilor, vesteste venirea primaverii, si care ne va reaminti, privind-o  inflorind in fiecare an, ca facem parte dintr-o mare familie europeana.

            We have decided to plant a magnolia tree, which by its flowers shaped as butterflies, announces the spring, and which will remind us, watching how it blooms every year, that we are part of a big European family.

            Nous avons choisi de planter un magnolia qui, par ses fleurs ressemblant aux papillons, annonce l’arrivée du printemps et qui nous rappellera, la voir fleurir chaque année, le fait d’être les membres de la grande famille européenne. 

            Cu gandul  la vechile credinte si ritualuri care situau copacul in centrul lumii, dar si privind spre viitor, ne-am adunat astazi, de Ziua Europei, ca parte a proiectului TREES for EUROPE 2019, desfasurat sub inaltul patronaj al Parlamentului European, intr-un gest simbolic de infratire cu cele peste 200 de scoli  care au raspuns prezent la acest appel - impreuna suntem mai puternici !

            With the thoughts of the old beliefs and rituals which see the tree in the middle of the world, but also looking in the future, we gathered today here on the Day of Europe, as part of the project TREES for EUROPE 2019, under the high patronage of the European Parliament, in a symbolic gesture of fellowship with over 200 schools that had responded on this call- together we are stronger!

            En nous souvenant les anciennes traditions et rituels qui situaient l’arbre au centre du monde, mais en regardant aussi vers le futur, nous sommes ensemble aujourd’hui, pour  la Journée de l’Europe, comme partie du projet « Trees for Europe 2019» déroulé sous le haut patronage du Parlement Européen, pour un geste symbolique de jumelage avec les plus de 200 écoles qui ont répondu « présent » à cet appel - ensemble nous sommes plus forts !

            Astăzi, mai mult decât oricand, fiecare dintre noi trebuie să se implice în acţiuni menite a proteja mediul înconjurător, a proteja planeta unde plantele şi copacii să-şi regăsească locul binemeritat. Dacă fiecare dintre noi plantează azi un copac sau o floare, mâine vom respira un aer mai curat, iar natura ne va răsplăti!

            Today, more than ever, each of us has to take part in actions designed to protect the environment, to protect the planet, where the trees and the plants can find their well deserved place. If each of us plants today one tree or a flower, tomorrow we will breathe a better air and the nature will reward us!

            Aujourd’hui, plus que jamais, chacun de nous doit être impliqué dans des actions visant à protéger l'environnement, protéger notre planète où les plantes et les arbres peuvent retrouver leur place bien méritée. Si chacun de nous plante un arbre ou une fleur aujourd'hui, demain nous respirerons un air plus pur et la nature nous récompensera!
